Course of Live Web Portfolio from Scratch: Next.js vs Gatsby

Javier FerrerIsma NavarroNúria Soriano

By Javier Ferrer, Isma Navarro y Núria Soriano Frontend

A series of live sessions comparing the creation of a web portfolio using Next.js and Gatsby, both deployed on different platforms, allowing you to learn and compare the technologies.

This series of live sessions is designed to help you create your own web portfolio. Throughout the series, Isma will work on the project with Next.js deploying on Vercel while Núria will do it with Gatsby deploying on Netlify, so you can see two different approaches to the same project.

The project will use markdown files to display your different projects, making it easier to update and maintain in the future. Throughout the live sessions, Isma and Núria will explain their design decisions and technology choices, and solve the problems that arise during the development process.

Javi will be the moderator and commentator on the progress of both projects, providing feedback, suggesting ideas, and asking questions to delve into the details. This way, you'll learn about the differences between the tools used, compare and contrast the different approaches, and make informed decisions about which tool to use in your own web development projects.

You will have the opportunity to follow the progress in real-time on our Twitch channel or on-demand here on Codely Pro.
