A few days ago, we announced it on Twitter: https://twitter.com/codelytv/status/804069001567621124 IronHack becomes a key piece for CodelyTV from now on 😄. This is very good news for everyone as we will achieve:
- Reduce the post-production time of the videos (allowing us to publish more)
- Improve the quality of the videos (they provide us with the space to record, equipment like microphones and cameras, and they have more skills in editing than we do with iMovie 😛)
Everything started to take shape at the event where we shared our evolution from tightly coupled code to frameworks to microservices through DDD. This event took place at IronHack's facilities and from there we were able to chat for a while with Marc and Jimmy.
We believe that the collaboration makes sense as the objectives of both projects are aligned. IronHack, as a school, introduces students to the world of programming at a very early stage of their professional career. This aspect is closely related to CodelyTV's goals in that it brings the sector closer to more people, and through their Meetups they also promote knowledge transfer. They have had and continue to have very good people as teachers (good people like Carlos Blé for example) and, in summary, we believe they help the sector advance and we feel comfortable collaborating with them 🙂. Without further ado, we hope you enjoy the first video we have already published in the new studio: Frequently Asked Questions about DDD and CQRS 🚀
