Summary: We've just published the Projections at Wallapop course in the Standard plan. 😊
A couple of weeks ago we fully published the Projections with Kafka course (this post has a summary). That course came about after having dinner one night with Eloi Poch and him telling us how they were building projections at Wallapop.
We loved the approach since it drastically reduced the amount of code needed and made the initial import much easier.
We liked it so much that we decided to create a course about it. But we wanted the course to be TOP-notch, so we asked Eloi to review both the course outline and the content, so we could cover all the Real World™ corner cases we might be missing.
And while we were at it, we roped him (and Josep Anguera) into recording a mini course on how they build projections at Wallapop.
These are three fairly dense videos where we look at the foundations of it all: Data Products. Then, we see how everything fits together in their architecture. There are some really great diagrams, plus code and data dashboards (from their Rabbit, Kafka...). 🎩
We hope you enjoy the course as much as we enjoyed recording it. 🙌
